When I’ve lassoed a stranger’s affection
In my season of clout
Sound and secure in myself

I will meet them
Where the songs of triumph, trail out to the sea
From quivering strings and ivory keys

All, without a single word
Never drifting, nor doubting

For eternity, graciously awaits
Veiled in white
